These boot didn't leak one time & my feet stayed warm & dry. I put these boots though every water test I could come across. I walked though water 6" deep and deep snow. Not once did they leak. My feet stayed warm & dry. The only complaint I have is that I'm a little bull legged & the right & left part of the boot by the buckle bites into my ankle, however the boots are still new & with time and a little padding I'm hoping this will soften. These boots were so good, my wife bought a set. She takes a womens 7 1/2, so we got her a mens size (7), just a little wide for a woman, however they work great.

Great Boot I spent 3 nights 4 days climbing Mt Whitney in the middle of February and these boots kicked butt. I sweated through the boot and they never dried in 15 degree weather but my feet were warm the entire trip. Climbing out of a sleeping into frozen boots is no fun but surprisingly my feet warmed the boots and the toes were toasty. I put on a pair of Black Diamond crampons on and they worked great, show shoes no problem. Crossed streams and they never leaked. If cash is tight and $300.00 mountaineering boots are not an option then these will get the job done without disappointment.

Quality Boot This is a great boot. I bought them for my 13 year old with the thought that because they are such good quality, my 10 year old will inherit them at some point. Great boot, great service!
