Praveen - 2010-01-05Very loud! This is the loudest whistle I've ever used, louder even than the fox40 whistles popular with hikers/SAR. Watch out for your hearing at full volume! It also handles well & allows you to control the precise volume and blowing effort very well. If there's a flaw it's the size, this thing is biger than the typical backpacker whistle, FYI so I probably won't take it on casual hikes.
