Sturdy, Reliable, Easy to Use. Heavier than others, but for durability and quality it is worth the extra weight.

My go-to filter Heavier than others but bomb-proof, can be serviced in the field, and just never, ever lets me down. When you need to filter a lot of water and don't have the luxury of passive drip system set up or time, this is your best bet. I might take a smaller, lighter 'Hiker' model when ounces are important...but I've used this on river trips, backpacking, travelling/trekking, and even in extended stay situations where the water supply was sketchy (at best). Just a champ.
